Food has always been how my family showed love. It was how stories were shared, how long days ended, and how generations stayed connected—even after crossing an ocean. The dough behind Scarpello's traces its roots back to my grandparents, who brought more than recipes with them when they came from Palermo to new york to iowa. They brought a way of cooking that valued patience, simplicity, and gathering people around the table.


Over the years, I’ve worked in food, watched trends come and go, and learned a lot about what people really want at home: something honest, something reliable, and something that makes them feel proud of what they’re serving. Scarpello's was born from that idea—great dough without the stress, mess, or guesswork, so you can focus on the part that matters: sharing a good meal.


These dough balls aren’t about perfection or tradition for tradition’s sake.
